Paste a deck from Arena or MTGO. See what's leaving Standard before you build it.
The next Standard rotation is currently tracked for 1 Jan 2027.
Standard is Magic: The Gathering's rotating constructed format: it only allows cards from roughly the last three years of sets. Once a year the oldest sets rotate out of Standard and stop being legal, keeping the format fresh without banning anything.
Standard moved to a calendar-aligned rotation starting in 2027: rotation now happens with the year's first set release rather than the fall set. No rotation occurred in fall 2026 because of this switch. Wizards of the Coast confirms the exact date and set list shortly beforehand, so this tool treats it as an estimate until then.

Paste your decklist into the box above — an MTG Arena or MTGO export, or a plain text list. Every card is checked against current Standard legality and the tracked rotation schedule and tagged safe, rotating soon, or not Standard, with replacement suggestions for the cards you'd need to swap.
A card's rotation date follows its most recent printing in a Standard set. A card first printed in a rotating set but reprinted in a longer-lived one — Foundations, for example — stays Standard-legal until that reprint rotates.
